The voices of Nova Scotia's community members are vital as we work together to create a healthier future for our province.
That's why Nova Scotia Health Authority hosted 25 community conversations in counties across the province between February and November 2018 to talk about collaborative family practice teams and what we're doing to enhance access to primary care across the province.
What we heard from Nova Scotians was consistent across the province, and aligns with other discussions and meetings that have taken place over the past several years with elected leaders, family doctors, and health system stakeholders and staff.
Thank you to the more than 600 people who attended in person and 165 who participated online. We look forward to hosting more community conversations about the primary health care system in the future.
