Work continues on the new collaborative health centre being built next to Roseway Hospital. Construction is expected to be complete in fall 2018.
The new collaborative health centre has been specially designed for a family practice team made up of four family physicians, three nurse practitioners, family practice nurses and support staff. The design lets in plenty of natural light, and allows for good flow of patients and providers throughout the space to make it easier to connect and consult for the best patient care.
While the new health centre is being completed, the Shelburne family practice team has been seeing patients in a space in Roseway Hospital.
NSHA is grateful for the support of the Municipality of Shelburne, the Town of Shelburne, the Roseway Hospital Charitable Foundation and the Department of Health and Wellness for the funding they have committed toward the project and for their ongoing support.
