Need a Family Practice registry aids Windsor collaborative practice in adding 1,500 patients

When Dr. Amanda MacDonald and a fellow doctor initially opened their Windsor medical practice four years ago, there was a lineup of would-be patients stretching around the building and down the block on opening day.

“For the first couple of weeks it was utter mayhem,” she said.

Dr. Martina Babin is one of soon-to-be two general practitioners at the Avon Medical Clinic.

“A big part of setting up here in Windsor is the fact that it’s just outside of the city, but not quite a city,” Babin said.
